I was curious and downloaded this app on the free plan for some motivational inspiration at the start of the day but quickly realized it’s so much more than a boost of feel-good in the morning (which admittedly is also nice) It’s like a Shopify Help Centre that also knows your store. We got info on things like Product image optimization, whether we should do Multi-currency, how to plan for Christmas sales, and best way to make sure the home page is Mobile Friendly. The cool thing is that ShopMentor offers advice from outside Shopify too, like Google best practices and references other Apps that may be helpful based on your question. And you can drill down to get more and more specific answers. Not sure there is another app like it on the App Store. For instance I compared answers to the question “Best way to set up a CONTACT US form” on Shopify Help and ShopMentor. Shopify Help was all about how to do it within your theme editor, which for me is painful! ShopMentor’s answer went beyond the basics and referenced other apps that make the process much easier if you don’t know how to code. Running a business is time-consuming, so we value this app for saving us a lot of time. Instead of searching online for help that may or may not be specific to Shopify we can pop the question into ShopMentor as a great place to start-and the app has often provided all the answer we need. Along with the encouragement and focus which never hurts!
