Provenance gives each item you make a unique identifier and a QR code to print on a card, tag, or label. When someone scans it, they see the record you registered: the product, when it was made, its edition number, and whether you have reported it lost or stolen. The record lives in your own Shopify admin, so it stays with you if you ever remove the app. Nothing about a customer is stored. You can also produce a printable certificate for each item, designed to match your brand.
