Description

Protect your margins by instantly disabling or blocking discounts and gift cards code.

PromoLock lets Shopify merchants instantly block the use of all discount codes and gift cards at checkout. Quickly pause promotions during sales, maintenance, or policy updates—no need to edit or disable each code individually.

Disable discount & gift card usage at checkout
Limit usable discount codes with optional pattern matching
Disable discount & gift card stacking at checkout
Add a custom error message for buyers

Pros

Allows Shopify Plus merchants to quickly block all discount codes and gift cards during checkout, facilitating control during sales, maintenance, or policy updates.
Eliminates the need to individually edit or disable each discount code, saving time and effort.
Supports optional pattern matching to limit usable discount codes, providing flexibility in promotion management.
Enables adding a custom error message for buyers, enhancing communication and customer experience.

Cons

The app is exclusive to Shopify Plus stores, limiting its accessibility for merchants on other Shopify plans.
Merchants who depend heavily on frequent discount changes may find the app's blanket approach less flexible if they wish to allow some promotions while blocking others.

works perfect and absolutely needed on every shopify site for black friday or other site markdowns. only issue is how hard this was to find in the shopify app store.
