for us is the best!, we have years working with magic zoom plus. it still looks modern and works perfect after all this time. but.. this app has one hidden treasure: their customer support is AWESOME. super fast, people wanting to help and make much more than necessary to help you every single time. You Guys ROCK, thank you very much!!!!!!!

Could not get it working. It loads in very slow and wonky. Support is pretty much useless. They sent "it's fixed" multiple times without actually fixing anything

It didn't work on my product page and removed my accordions when app was active. Support was non communicative after asking for developer collaboration and after that waited a few days and never heard back even after trying to contact them a few times after that.

May, 2025: I had a bad bug with this app after updating my theme version. Magic Zoom took responsibility and worked with me on the theme consistently. Their level of support is very significant to the relation of their app. Communication was quick, fixes were quick, and their effort was at its best. So I recommend this app not only for its functionality, but also the support that integrates with its functionality. With a more complicated custom set up like mine, I wouldn't want to go anywhere else to get the same effects as the Magic Zoom app provides. You can see below that I've had this app since 2018. So that is 7 years. They have always answered my occasional call (1-3 times a year max). Very happy with their unbiased, unconditional, and dedicated help. 2018: Great app, great initial support. This company set up my optimizations perfectly after a little back and forth with instruction via e-mail. I love the ease of zoom and magnify on this app and it works on any kind of image with the right setup from support. That alone gives it 5 stars.

Besides being a great app, the support team at Magic Zoom Plus is phenomenal. We had a problem with the app conflicting with a part of the products section. After contacting their support, they quickly logged in and fixed the problem. I am very impressed by their quick and thorough customer support

LAST EDIT: After receiving a new message from the support, I realized that the mistake was mine. I had ticked the retina image switches for the zoom and the gallery which had caused my images to display too small. All fixed now and the app is back on our Website. Many thanks to Paula for her help! I decide"d to keep the entire review as it is as it may help other people who may face the same issue ;) This app is great! EDIT: I’m disabling the app today while concerns #2 and #3 are being addressed. However, the way my images are displayed on click is the real deal breaker. When the gallery opens, the images appear even smaller than in the initial view. Unfortunately, this is completely counterproductive and pushes visitors to close the gallery. I still don’t understand why the app can’t display images the way Shopify does natively. While Shopify’s approach sometimes enlarges images too much (depending on the original size), at least visitors get a proper zoom when they click. It’s a shame because otherwise, this app is very well done and probably ideal for businesses that can share full-resolution images without concerns about counterfeiting. To top it off, it's super fairly priced with a one-time payment! The app is really good and the support team has been very helpful. only this is I would love if they can implement adding video onto the extended view it would be so helpful.

Their customer service is SO prompt and helpful!! We recently had a technical issue and they fixed it within 24 hours. Other apps take days.... Really love this app!! I do wish they had a direct chat button (vs e-mail) but understand why they don't. Love this app!
