*** Update 11/26/2025 I have changed to 3 stars because the developer responded stating "Selecting the free plan only requires clicking “Next” during the setup wizard. No charges are applied unless a paid plan is explicitly selected." . I reinstalled the app and found the instructions are correct. However before they responded I already found and starting using another app. *** Misleading pricing options. There is no way to select the free plan after installing the app and going through their setup wizard. I don't mind paying but will use another app that doesn't have a bogus free option.

So far it seems to be helping the major issue I've been having of scammers mass creating fake accounts and abandoned checkouts to test stolen credit cards.

I am looking for added security features on my store. I do not want visitors from certain textile countries continuing to spam me for business. I am trying this app, if it works 5 stars, if not 1 star. I will update soon.

Great app. I was having issues with bots, and Kendra Shield helped me minimise the number of bots on my site.

Just installed it, havent get to see if it works on blocking certain countries from accessing the store. Hopefully it works

Kedra Shield was really easy to set up and select the countries where the most bots were coming from. I'm excited to see what it can do for us overtime.

I am looking forward to trying out the Kendra Shield bot blocker and hopefully having it help clean my abandon cart bot issue.

This app was widely recommended if you're in a similar situation experiencing a surge in unwanted bot activity. There is a message upon install stating the bot visits will still show up in your analytics, so be mindful of that. Otherwise it's a good resource to try with a free plan available that includes IP blocker and region blocker.

Misleading and Non-Functional: No Blocking, No Support This application is completely non-functional and misleading regarding its core security features. Despite being installed to block unwanted traffic, it does not block anything. We confirmed that neither bots nor traffic from specified countries were successfully blocked. The app essentially operates as an analytics tool: it only informs us of attacks and traffic after the fact, without providing any preventive measures. The primary function of blocking traffic is completely absent. Furthermore, customer support is nonexistent. We sent four detailed messages to the support team across several days and have received zero responses. If you require an application that delivers on its security promises or provides any level of customer service, look elsewhere.

10/10 so far with my experience, its nice to be able to block whole countries without having to pay for an additional service

verdict is still out...? The stats page shows a lot of blocking activity however the Shopify Sessions, Live View, and Conversion Stats are still thrown off by massive numbers of Chinese bots.

Very helpful app for securing our Shopify store. The bot blocker and country restriction work smoothly, and the setup was quick and clear. Highly recommend Kedra Shield to any brand that wants to protect their site effectively.

App doent work properly. Do not block any bot, neither any country. We have sent messages 4 times and none ansered. Customer support doesnt exist.

App was disfunction on one day: blocked countries users were able to visit several times, from several blocked countries. Blocked copy/image protection functions wasn’t working anymore. This app failed to protect, and I have received no reply to any of my approaches, twice via the messenger button within the app, and another one to support on this page. No reply for almost 3 weeks. No functionality for about the same time or maybe more. I have to remove this app and get a different one, this one just doesn’t work. Not anymore anyway.

App is easy to load, it allows unwanted site visits from places using Bots or countries in which you do not ship or sale to! Nice!
