The single biggest flaw in the Shopify platform is their stupid insistence at showing all the optional pay buttons at the top of the checkout. THIS CONFUSES CUSTOMERS AND DRIVES AWAY SALES. Yesterday was the last straw—I had a customer write in to say that he wasn't going to purchase an item worth several thousand dollars, simply because he didn't have Paypal, Google Pay, or Apple Pay. Shopify needs to fix this stupid design immediately. But in the meantime, Billy Yeung's Hide Paypal In Cart is the best $1/month you'll ever spend. Just do it. You'll be glad you did.

Having the PayPal button in my shopping cart has been a nightmare! PayPal users could bypass all customer information. Also they couldn’t add a discount code or select a shipping method. I started using this app very soon after opening my store and it had worked flawlessly for me. (Not to mention I didn’t have to do anything except install it and it was working perfect as is). Later when “Shopify” updated the PayPal button it showed up again in my shopping cart. Oh no!!! But Billy (from Hide Paypal in cart) fixed the problem for me in no time. It was a very pleasant experience. Superb customer service. Even if I could do the coding myself (which I can’t yet), I would and will keep this App as long as I own my store. (Over 10 years now). Great app. Great support! Can't believe Shopify lets the PayPal and Amazon buttons appear anywhere except the checkout page. Talk about confusing non-PP and Amazon customers and causing them to abandon the cart AND the business.

Fantastic app and awesome service. The app does what it says in hiding the Paypal buttons. It was simple to use and completed in seconds. We needed to ask a couple of questions prior to installation and the response from Billy was prompt, professional and courteous. Billy also went out of his way to assist us with additional customization. We highly recommend this app to anyone wanting to remove the Paypal buttons from both cart and checkout.
