As a user who values localization and translations in e-commerce stores, I was greatly disappointed with my experience using the Address Ninja app. Although the app promises the ability to translate all error messages, it turned out that this wasn't entirely true. Main Points of Disappointment: Limited Number of Languages: The app offers translations for only 10 languages, which is quite limited for a global audience. Unfulfilled Promise: The app description states that you can translate "all error messages," which proved to be misleading. Lack of Transparency: I only discovered the translation limitations after installation and attempted use. Importance of Localization: For my online store, translations are crucial, so this shortcoming is a serious obstacle. Inflexibility: When I contacted them about this issue, they cited "limitations" instead of offering a solution or timeline for improvements. Conclusion: While Address Ninja may offer other useful features, the lack of comprehensive support for translations is a major drawback. For online stores focusing on an international audience, I would recommend seeking alternative solutions that truly support multilingualism in all aspects of the user experience, including error messages. I hope the Address Ninja team will take this feedback seriously and improve their language capabilities in the future. Moving from the custom checkout validations we had in place on checkout.liquid to Shopify's new checkout extensibility, we needed a solution that could achieve the same level of customization we previously had in place. Address Ninja was super easy to set up and their support team was top-notch as well.

Seit der Installation haben wir viel weniger Adress-Probleme. Das erspart sehr sehr viel manuelle Nacharbeiten. Wir nutzen aktuell den Hausnummern-Check und die Längenvalidierung der Adresszeile. Besonders toll ist die schnelle Umsetzung unseres Feature-Request bezüglich der Längenvalidierung. An anderes wichtiges Highlight ist der Export / Import der Settings. Bei mehreren aktiven Shops macht dieses Feature richtig Sinn. Top!

This app is exactly what we need to prevent incorrect addresses. The customer support was also very nice.

SO easy to install (<2 minutes) and exactly what our store needed to block missing information when customers enter their addresses. Worth the price compared to other apps that cost ~$0.05/order, which for us would be over $25/month. Once I installed the app, their chat function (with a real human not a robot) assisted with the set-up. Would recommend!!!

Wir hatten schon lange das Problem, dass Bestellungen ohne Hausnummer aufgegeben wurden. Dies resultierte in Abklärungen und viel Zusatzaufwand. Mit der App konnten wir ganz einfach das Problem lösen :) Super Kundenservice!

This app fixed an issue we had with customers filling in only their house numbers in the address line. The missing street names needed to be looked up manually. Now we have a working validation on our checkout that actually stops customers from proceeding without a valid address. Shopify's default address validation wasn't good enough and only checks for a valid postal code

Found this app looking for a cost-effective alternative to Address Validator. This one is priced fairly, is affordable and the support chat (Denise) has been very helpful in configuring it. It's still new but fits the use case of what I need for now.

Die App ist eigentlich toll, weil sie ein nerviges Problem löst, es gibt jedoch leider eine störende Sache: Wenn man die DHL-Packstation Prüfung aktiviert, dann wird geprüft ob im Adressfeld 1 "Packstation" und eine Nr. steht und im Adressfeld 2 "Postnummer" und eine 6-10 stellige Nummer. Der Worteintrag "Postnummer" ist aber nicht nur unnötig und wird von DHL nicht verlangt, sondern er verhindert z.B. auch die Nutzung von verschiedenen Versandapps wie z.B. "Easy DHL". Dort wird nämlich das Adressfeld 2 ebenfalls validiert (beim Versand an Packstationen) aber es wird nur eine 6-10 stellige Nummer akzeptiert. D.h. wenn "Postnummer" mit dabei steht, kann man kein Etikett erstellen. Deswegen meine Bitte: Macht das bitte raus, es ist m.E. unnötig und schränkt die Nutzung eurer App unnötig stark ein. Danke!

Durch die Adressenüberprüfung eine Menge Geld gespart, da es oft fehlende Daten der Kunden gab, wie Hausnummern oder falsch eingetippte Postleitzahlen. Die App ist super einfach zu bedienen und darf in keinem Shop fehlen.
