Every image in your store should have alt text, for screen readers and for search engines that can't see the picture. Writing it by hand rarely gets done. PS Alt Text writes it for you: it looks at each product image, describes what's in it, and saves that text to Shopify, automatically for new products or on demand for your backlog. Set the language, length and style, or add your own instructions. You pay only for images that get alt text; failed attempts refund, and every attempt is logged.

• Describes what's actually in the picture — not the filename or product title.
• Handles new products automatically, a few minutes after you add or edit them.
• Backfills alt text across your entire existing catalogue in one full scan.
