Shopify's built-in shipping settings work well for many stores, but some merchants require more flexible shipping rules based on factors like weight, destination, cart value, product type, or a combination of conditions. Vietnam moved to a two-tier administrative model on 1 July 2025: 34 provinces and 3,321 wards, with districts removed. Buyers still type old district names at checkout. The app adds a block to the Thank you page. It pre-fills province, ward and street from the address the buyer already entered. The buyer fixes anything wrong and confirms, and only then are the values written to the order as custom attributes. Your Shopify shipping address is never changed.
