Order limits: set a minimum and maximum quantity per product or for the whole cart, enforced in the cart and at checkout by a Shopify Function, so one bulk buyer cannot take a whole restock. Back in stock alerts: a "Notify me" form on sold-out variants emails each shopper once, the moment that exact variant returns. The dashboard shows which products shoppers are waiting for. On March 1, 2027 Shopify stops loading script tags on every storefront. Reviews, chat, pop-ups and other features that still rely on them will stop working unless each app has moved to an app embed that is turned on in your theme.
