Instead of uploading a passport or typing a birthday, the shopper opens their EU Digital Identity Wallet, approves the request and returns to your store. Your store receives only a yes or no. Names, dates of birth and document numbers stay in the wallet, so there is nothing sensitive for you to store or protect.
