Excellent support! - The default Bigcommerce shipping and returns setup is pretty meh, basic. This app solves everything that BC is missing. Customer support is always great (usually can get things resolved in about 10 minutes) and the interface is super easy to use. The 3rd party integrations are also great (Klaviyo for the win!). Haven't had any of the issues the past few reviewers had so I'm guessing they just configured things wrong. Would recommend this app to any store owner that is serious about customer experience.

Support is woeful, I mean terrible! - Integrated into our store for a few months and some shippers that we utilize for freight do not sync up with their system and were labeled as alternate shipping companies. Many, Many, Many attempts to resolve with their online chat service were met with zilch. ZERO response. If I could give their support 0 stars I would.

Rubbish - This looks like it has potential but the app is messy, badly designed and far from intuitive.Bigcommerce orders do not sync automatically, you seem to have to click import. It brought in 7 orders, two days later, still showing 7 and no new orders are importing. I can't be doing with that, get your app working properly before advertising you integrate. Was hoping I could make this work but if I can't figure something out within an hour or so I'll conclude it's badly designed. Support seems to be handled by the usual foreign crowd who don't know what day it is.

Excellent app, great support - You have full control of how the tracking page appears, just make sure to customize it. A much needed app for any BigCommerce shop that does not use a third party shipping app for their orders. So far, it has been excellent. I have not experienced what the previous reviewer mentioned but I customized my tracking page and email messages. It is great to know where your orders are as a customer and as a shop owner.

Spams Your Customers - Don't Use! - Every time your customer places an order the link in their profile and the tracking link sent in the email from BigCommerce, sends your customer to a super spammy page trying to get them to signup for the AfterShip app. The page is also covered with ads for knock off Apple Watches and AirPods. It has taken over my ShipStation links!

Great when it works, but very unreliable - We have been using this service for many years now. It is great when it works, but throughout our time using it on multiple stores, we have made several incidents where the connection drops out between Bigcommerce and Aftership. For whatever reason, our shipments stop importing to Aftership and we go days or weeks without knowing there is an issue. Meanwhile we get inundated with customers saying "has my order shipped?" After enough of these requests, I will log into Aftership and find that it has been not pulling in any shipments. This once happened for an entire month and they still charged us for the service.I love the idea of the service and when it works, it's great - but it is totally unreliable and they are not proactive about notifying us there seems to be a problem pulling in tracking.

Good platform that is evolving - Aftership does what it says. It does a good job of grabbing shipping information from BigCommerce, then bouncing the information off of the carrier's website, and returning information of when a shipping label was prepared, when the courier picked up the package, when the package is out for delivery and when the item is delviered. That works pretty much flawlessly. There is even a customize portal for customers to see the status. You can use the functionality to send emails or SMS txt messages to customers, and / or, using Webhooks, we push this informaiton into Klavyio, which inturn allows us to customize an email to the customer.Support is average. You complete a ticket, and someone from offshore addresses your needs. They may or may not address the issue, but they do follow-up. Timing of support is less than a day, but not instant.Aftership has expanded to offer other features, like returns, which they do in a very basic and average fashion. Their Return Center is not really ready for prime time. The integration with Big Commerce is okay, but the overall look and feel is more like a college programming project, and less like a ready to ecommerce solution. This is where I would down grade Aftership. They should stick to what they do, and master it. Return Center requires the customer to know their login and while it handles returns and prints return labels, it does not integrate back into BigCommerce to show the customer account as returned. It is a good start, and pokes at the lack of funcitonality in BigCommerce to print return labels, which is really important, and missing in BC. But the lack of transactional backflow of information to BC is incomplete executionFunctionality B+ / A-Support C+Attention to Detail: BReturn Center: C

So far so good - So far so good! Using it with Klaviyo, was a bit of a glitch in the beginning, but got fixed quickly. I love the tracking page and that it can be branded and styled to keep the brand vibe going thru the whole process with our customers.

The perfect app for tracking shipments - This app has greatly improved the customer experience. I have a gift basket business. This allows my customers to see when and where each ift they purchase will arrive at the destination. I highly recommend it!

Nifty Little App - Have been using this for a few months. So far haven't had any major hiccups. Just upgraded it so we could use webhooks to link to other apps. My only complaint is that when I exit AfterShip, it will not let me go back to my Big Commerce control panel. A little annoying. But other than that, I like the app.

customer service is not good - their customer service sucks, to be honest. They need to train some of their staff to be more attentive to customers. It seems that most of the reviews on this site are one liners probably promoted by the same company. I'm giving two stars cause i like the UI but service is more important to us.

Second time is the charm - The first time we installed AfterShip we had forgotten our password for our existing account. (A few years ago we synced this to our eBay account, but at some point it stopped working and we forgot about this.) Unfortunately, through the password reset process something happened and it didn't install right away. We had to uninstall and reinstall for it to import any shipments. After that second clean install it works just fine.

Good product, poor tech support - I think this is a useful app for sure but the tech support is sorely lacking. They are clearly off-shore as you don't get a reply until the next day which is okay but I don't think they really understand the questions. I wouldn't have rated it but since they are all about rate our tech support email I figured I would. I do not find a good help or user guide. So will I keep using it? Yes, but lay off the patting yourself on the back.
