Works when it wants to - This app was great in the beginning. Now it no longer loads the orders. It went from working very well to not working at all. There is no one to call or contact for $50+ a month.

Unethical - After an issue within my BigCommerce site ShipStation was completely removed from the site. I went to reach out to their support team for help and had to guess at what options in their automated chat tool in order to be able to get through to a CS rep. When I finally was able to speak to an actual person (not being redirected to help articles that did not apply, and explaining that this was an emergency 2 days later nobody had reached back out to provide support. I reached back out and they said they would send me to the original support person who continued to ignore the request I made to get help reimplementing their tool and making sure I did not make any mistakes. Instead they continued to ask unrelated questions and provide no support at all. All while customers are unable to place orders on our site.Update: We have decided to cancel our account with them. After 2 years of terrible support and multiple accusations of our database being incomplete we were finally informed that the functionalities they assured us would work with our system would in fact not work and we had been paying for something that was never going to print multiple labels for one order. They offered us a $30 refund... Then when asking for support from an experienced implementation support team member and got run around. We will print our labels elsewhere. Cancelling our account.

LIFE SAVER - We love working with Shipstation. It's really higly recommended for small or midsize businesses. It makes life easier if you use it properly.

Shipstation really speeds us up - We implemented ShipStation almost a decade ago, and still today it remains one of the smartest implementations we've done. Easy to use, easy to set up rules, filters, etc, it helps my team get stuff done, and fast.

Almost 5 stars - The BigCommerce/ShipStation interface gets 5 stars on passing shipping address info and shipping weight to ShipStation, then returning ship confirmation and tracking number back to BigCommerce.ShipStation gets 10 stars for providing well-discounted UPS rates, rates that small businesses would have a very difficult time qualifying for with their own UPS account. ShipStation's lower USPS rates are helpful too.What would make the interface 5+ stars? 1. Passing package dimensions from BigCommerce to ShipStation.2. BigCommerce making it an option to give real-time shipping quotes to customers based on either UPS/USPS retail rates or on ShipStation's discounted shipping costs.

No technical support unless Enterprise - ShipStation is fairly easy to use and integrates with BigCommerce and Stamps.com well. It does not operate well with Amazon. When you first sign up, you will receive technical support for 90 days to assist with setup. When this expires, you are forced to use Online Help Search and Community Forum. This is an online chat available on Mondays-Fridays. You do not have telephone support unless you have an Enterprise plan ($159 per mo.). I upgraded to Enterprise for one month to get my issue fixed. Whenever I called, they would reset something in the background to make the Amazon orders come through. The problem just comes right back. If you only want to use this product with BigCommerce and you have a stamps.com account, I would give this app 5 stars.

Great software with some flaws - We have used the software for at least 3 years now. It has made shipping lots of products very easy. One big flaw in our opinion is the lack of support for multiple boxes. You can set box size and weight down to the sku so that you do not have to enter in the data each time an order comes in. Sadly, the storage spot only allows for one box size and weight. Many of our sku's ship in multiple boxes and weights. They do have package pre-sets but that is not the best solution. I alerted them to this years ago and they have yet to offer a solution. I know we are not the only one who needs this feature. On top of this, the returns portal hold little value. It only works for single box items and has such limited functionality we have never been able to use it. If my item ships out with 6 boxes and a customer wants to return it, the returns portal should issue the customer the exact amount of labels it went out with. There is a lot to be desired to make this truly great software but it works very well for what we do with it. The new update they have done has resulted in taking away some features which we do not like. We have continued to use the legacy "look" so that we retain those features. I would recommend the software to most people.

User friendly & convenient - Shipstation is very user friendly and easy for those just getting started in the shipping world. From importing orders from your website as well as entering in manual orders it doesnt get much easier. Very efficient for the low cost as well. 10/10 recommend!

A great shipping tool, just needs some updates - I have used Ship Station at two different companies for the past six years. I really like the ease of set up and use of the App overall, especially for start up or small/medium companies. I do wish they would have a "pick up in store" option so you wouldn't have to force using "Other" and type in the pick up information. It would also be very helpful if the packing slip noted that it was a pick-up in store option as well as list any customer notes for all tiers of service. That is my biggest pet peeve, that order notes are only available to the highest level subscription holders. This seems like a very basic need when orders are being packed. It would also be great to not have to use Shipper HQ in conjunction with Ship Station when you need to use dimensional or other more complex shipping options for a few products. Having to stack Apps only leads to problems.

Easy to use, a lot of shipping flexibility - I was hesitant and first but now I would not think of running my BC or other eComm platforms without it. Importing orders is automatic or only take a few seconds manually, shipping presets makes determining the most cost effective shipping very fast and batch printing means only spending a few minutes every day creating label. Sending ship notifications is automatic. Great app.

Great overall. Needs better cust serv options. - Shipstation is THE shipping app. When it works great, it's great. When something goes wrong (rarely), it goes wrong. So when something goes wrong you reach out to customer service. Here's the catch, if you're a basic subscriber, you'll have to email them. Well forget about a timely response, you'll have to wait a week. So you'll have to jump to bronze level to get chat service. Pay more and then you can talk on the phone. Fortunately the chat service has a quick response. I think even basic subscribers should get the chat. That would be the acceptable thing.

Easy to use - We are a small business and have used the ShipStation software now for several years. It is easy to use and intuitive. When an order comes into our BigCommerce website, it is automatically entered into the ShipStation program, seamlessly. Makes it easy to complete the transaction and get our books shipped quicker. Very pleased with it! I rely on them to be up-to-date on the current shipping prices and they have not failed me yet. Good customer service, and responsive to help, if needed. Would recommend it.

Great integration and features - We used to previously use Volusion to host our store, and it's obvious the integration with ShipStation is a lot better on BigCommerce. We've run into numerous things that used to give us such a headache on the old site that work seamlessly now. I also appreciate all of the Automation Rules available on ShipStation. We use them quite a lot and it makes order processing so much easier!

Easy and Seamless - It's amazing to us that ShipStation and BigCommerce are not the same program and company ... that work THAT well together! The seemless integration of the two make it easy for us to do business and take care of shipments. Been using both together for 2 years and it has worked great for us.

Seamless BC integration, saves me a ton of $$$ - With Shipstation we save a lot of time processing orders. The SS templates, order tracking, etc. are great. Knock on wood - have had zero problems to-date with automatic order information coming from BC to Shipstation. However, the biggest advantage with Shipstation is the UPS rate structure. I don't believe a lower UPS rate can be had. This saves us hundreds every month, and we're a small company.

Don't try to import old orders for sales insights - With daily orders and organization, it works fine. I have been using it for a few years and I haven't had any issues with it connecting to Bigcommerce. It has streamlined the orders, shipping, reordering stock and order reports.However, I had a tech issue last year where I had to end my eBay channel and add a new one. Therefore, my old eBay orders were gone from Insights. I need to see my previous sales and orders, in order to make business desicions and help customers. A rep told me I could import those orders back in. So I did. But instead of reading my .csv file of the shipped date, it put all the orders in the "awaiting shipment" file. So guess what??? They want me to pay $500 to upgrade my subscription to move the old orders I already paid for previously, to the shipped folder. I talked to 2 reps and told them that's not right for them to charge me to fix the technical issue and move this to the right folder. But according to them there was no way around that, if you move orders from awaiting shipment to shipped. Then their system will charge you. Now after spending 4 hours trying to fix this, I have to cancel the old orders and have the data disappear again.Shipstation - if the order say's "shipped" in your own .csv file, then it should import in the "shipped folder". I don't think it's right to have us pay for orders twice.
