It's good - The integration works fairly well. Only few glitches here and there with the inventory but are usually resolved pretty quickly. Support is good too. To unlock a lot of features I suggest to subscribe to the higher subscriptions plans if you think it's worth it money wise.

Almost 5 stars - The BigCommerce/ShipStation interface gets 5 stars on passing shipping address info and shipping weight to ShipStation, then returning ship confirmation and tracking number back to BigCommerce.ShipStation gets 10 stars for providing well-discounted UPS rates, rates that small businesses would have a very difficult time qualifying for with their own UPS account. ShipStation's lower USPS rates are helpful too.What would make the interface 5+ stars? 1. Passing package dimensions from BigCommerce to ShipStation.2. BigCommerce making it an option to give real-time shipping quotes to customers based on either UPS/USPS retail rates or on ShipStation's discounted shipping costs.

Great software with some flaws - We have used the software for at least 3 years now. It has made shipping lots of products very easy. One big flaw in our opinion is the lack of support for multiple boxes. You can set box size and weight down to the sku so that you do not have to enter in the data each time an order comes in. Sadly, the storage spot only allows for one box size and weight. Many of our sku's ship in multiple boxes and weights. They do have package pre-sets but that is not the best solution. I alerted them to this years ago and they have yet to offer a solution. I know we are not the only one who needs this feature. On top of this, the returns portal hold little value. It only works for single box items and has such limited functionality we have never been able to use it. If my item ships out with 6 boxes and a customer wants to return it, the returns portal should issue the customer the exact amount of labels it went out with. There is a lot to be desired to make this truly great software but it works very well for what we do with it. The new update they have done has resulted in taking away some features which we do not like. We have continued to use the legacy "look" so that we retain those features. I would recommend the software to most people.

Great overall. Needs better cust serv options. - Shipstation is THE shipping app. When it works great, it's great. When something goes wrong (rarely), it goes wrong. So when something goes wrong you reach out to customer service. Here's the catch, if you're a basic subscriber, you'll have to email them. Well forget about a timely response, you'll have to wait a week. So you'll have to jump to bronze level to get chat service. Pay more and then you can talk on the phone. Fortunately the chat service has a quick response. I think even basic subscribers should get the chat. That would be the acceptable thing.

Overall great, needs QuickBooks Enterprise integration - I like the seminars that ShipStation offers, I have found the support team very helpful, and the platform itself is very easy to use while being very cost effective and helps speed shipping up here. I deducted one star from the review because I was initially under the impression that ShipStation integrates with QuickBooks Enterprise, which is one of the main reasons I switched to ShipStation and it does not - it integrates with QuickBooks Mobile and that was not clear from the demo call. I would absolutely give 5 stars if that integration was there since I am looking for a one stop solution. We use FedEx exclusively, including the One Rate program, and are integrated with ShipperHQ. I found out there was a way to integrate ShipStation with ShipperHQ (literally, one touch of a button!) and I am able to pull the box information that ShipperHQ suggests we pack items in. I've been using ShipStation since April 2021, and overall, I am pleased. I will be playing with some of the International things soon.

Very Good at What It Does - BC forced me out of BC Shipping, which I loved. I had to replace one app that worked great with two apps. ShipStation works really well for printing labels, but unfortunately it doesn't quote real-time rates on my store. I had to use EasyShip to quote real-time rates, and that app turned out to be a dumpster fire for me, but this review is about ShipStation which I am overall very happy with.ShipStation does a good job of bringing in data from your store and printing accurate labels. There is a problem with invalid tokens while using the program within BigCommerce and with Google Chrome. The work-around is to access ShipStation through its own website using MS Edge. I never have the invalid token issue when using Edge, so I think the invalid token problem has more to do with Chrome than with ShipStation.Once you're logged in, you have to upload recent orders and then refresh your screen. 2 or 3 mouse clicks. Not a big deal, but it would be nice if it automatically uploaded and refreshed when you logged into the site.After that, everything is easy. They have nice screen layouts and pretty simple methods for printing labels. I use sheet paper labels, not stickers, so my packing slip prints on the other half of my label. Kind of a nice touch that uses otherwise wasted paper.I have only used this for domestic orders, so I can't comment upon international orders. If only they provided real-time quotes for my BC store, this would be a 5 star program.

Ship Station Pros and Cons - Overall I like shipstation. As with anything it is a matter of learning the system. User friendly I rate it a 9 out of 10. The only reason is the USPS Global Advantage Program which you do not know you are being enrolled in. This service is for international orders only. The process - you make up the label with the international address. When the label prints out it ships your package to a processing facility in Carol Stream Ill. I questioned this and they told me it was a processing facility which will prepare the shipment for international delivery. From there they relabel it and send it on it's way.... maybe! First package to Canada has travelled all over the Canadian Provinces and still has not reached the customer after almost 40 days. Reason - Canada Post told the customer the label was damaged during shipment. Solution - send customer a replacement only this time opting out of the Global Advantage Program provided by Shipstation and Stamps .com. Now that I have opted out, when I make up the label all I have to do is add the customs declaration. And it is actually a few dollars cheaper to fill it out myself. The other two international shipments have been sitting in the RR Donelly shipping facility in Itasca, Illinois for better than two weeks. Never mind trying to contact that facility. Nearly impossible. So for me the take away is contact Shipstation and Stamps.com and opt out of the Global Advantage Program. When International labels are generated all you have to do is fill in the customs declaration. I like the program for all the other features and plan on staying with Shipstation. It is a good back end program. I would have liked Shipstation better if they had inform me of the third party shipping solution. Then if I had chosen it and the fail had come as it did I could in good conscience discount only the third party shipper. In this case RR Donelly. You may have a different experience but I was told from Shipstation product support that my complaint was not uncommon. What good is it to have a (claimed)more economical shipping solution at the cost of your reputation and loss of business. Hope this helps

Makes Shipping A Lot Easier - ShipStation has made my shipping life so much easier. Before I would have to buy individual shipping labels for the USPS and then pay an additional shipping fee. I always wondered if I was getting the best rate from the local office. Now, I can easily print a label and stick it onto my package in a matter of seconds. The labels look super sharp. I can easily compare which shipping methods are the cheapest and save money. It's really nice and totally better than doing it yourself. There's no waiting in line at the USPS; I can simply leave the package on the counter since it already has a label and is paid for. The only problem I had at first was trying to learn the system. I finally figured it out after I watched some training videos on the ShipStation website. After that, everything was super easy. I'm a small business owner and it was a big decision at the time trying to decide if it was worth signing up for, but now looking back I don't know what I would do without it.

Easy integration & use -

Really Good. -

Ship Station is almost the perfect solution.  I expect that in the coming months it will be come the perfect solution.  We ship a lot overseas and their customs handling is great.

Great but lacking some simple fixes -

If you have items under 150lbs its great. But you truly cannot manage everything from one place as they advertise. If you ship any items LTL freight you have to do everything manually or do workarounds which defeat the purpose. If they can work in a solution here it truly would be an awesome product..

Save time and money -

Fantastic, We just moved our web site to Bigcommerce and I love all the add on apps, but I love Shipstation the best so far. We used to manually input addresses into the various shipping companies web sites. But, with shipstation we have decreased our whole shipping procedure.

Shipstation has saved us so much time! It is simple and easy to use and is a breeze to set up, yet it has all the features we need and many more. I'm very impressed with Shipstation.
