Not great - What happened to testing apps before you start charging people for them? I feel like so many companies just start pushing out their "new and shiny" features and yet half the time they don't work. The abandoned cart emails don't send - at least for me they don't. I was passed on to "premium support" and after a lot of time spent, was told that 'I guess it doesn't work, but we'll look into it'. Many of my customer emails are getting unsubscribed when they don't want them to. You can't actually use the order confirmation emails. That is technically Big Commerce's fault since they won't let you opt out of their hideous order confirmation emails - so customers would end up receiving two. I'm not sure if I'd trust them to send out via MC anyway. Support for MailChimp is mediocre and only via chat. I'm paying more for my email marketing app than I do for my website and half the "bells and whistles" don't even work.

Horrible!! - I can no longer make a landing page for my own website unless I pay $99 a year. Sorry, I'm not doing this! Things have changed and not for the better with this company

Blank screen - I love Mailchimp. On WooCommerce the integration was a bit sketchy, but it worked. This app doesn't seem to do anything. I click on it and just get a blank screen.

Is it working? I can't tell. - I have had mailchimp installed but I'm not even sure that it has any use and am too afraid to remove it incase it messes up my Privy popup. When people sign up to my newsletter using the automatic sign up form in my theme, Mailchimp aren't accounting for these. My Privy popup form is the only thing that links my subscribers to my Mailchimp. I'm finding myself unsure.

No tracking number in ship notification - This 'integration' features a ship notification with...get this...no tracking number! That is the one single piece of information a webstore must include in a ship confirmation email, and this software can not s support that.

Never worked - This has never worked. Had a "connected" site since December 2017 but never showed a list. Never sync'd with BigCommerce. Never could validate the last script for the footer. The only reason left to think why this doesn't work anymore for so long is these issues are purposeful...

Nice Idea. Doesn't Work - I have used MailChimp for several years as a paid subscription outside of BC and really liked it. Tried the app thinking it would fit my need for abandoned carts and remarketing, but it did not. I have spend countless hours creating the emails, connecting and reconnecting at least four times and no luck. Also, coupon codes do not feed over unless you disconnect and reconnect, which, if you get it to work MC says you loose all your data. Moving on.

Doesn't Work! - Integration install STILL does not work. Looks like it's been this way for months. Will be looking for something else now.

We loved the free option, and finally upgraded for tech support. Unfortunately, in a recent platform upgrade, list management became overly complicated and and integration is a little buggy...UPDATE Nov 2020: In trying to be all things to all people, Mailchimp has dropped the ball. There are frequent issues with syncing, and it's just overly complicated. We would prefer a cheaper service with less features.

Run away! Doesn't work with BigCommerce - Since switching to MailChimp 1 month ago, we've been plagued by this issue where anyone who orders from our store gets UNSUBSCRIBED via Admin Action. Neither BigCommerce nor MailChimp can help us resolve this. MailChimp support said they are aware of the issue and developers are working on it. They gave us two months free service. Our developer's never heard of this issue. I can't get anyone on their awful chat/email support to escalate this and call me to find a resolution. I've documented this happening until I'm blue in the face and I just sit here every day watching a 5K mailing list erode away. This is the worst customer experience I've ever had. Run away and don't be lured in by their cheaper prices and advertised features. I mean if you can't even keep a simple mailing list accurately you have no business being in business.

Support? - I am still waiting on a response from their support team sent over a week ago. I have not been able to find any options for setting up rules on what actions move customers from one list to another. Considering alternative email solutions.

Lousy customer service - Every time they make a change Mailchimp wipes out my customer list. This last time my history of e-mails sent was also wiped out. Good luck getting in touch with or a response from their customer support. I had to un-install and re-install app on big commerce. Then it took days for the customer list to re-sync. At which time they added back customers who previously un-subscribed which made for some very un-happy customers.

Revenue reporting and order synch doesn't work since OCT 2017 - We have been using Mailchimp for over 3 years, and at first everything was working fine, beautiful data about the e-commerce result of every mailing. In OCT 2017 somehow it went wrong, and ever since all we get is "our tech team is working on it". Really? Six months for a fix? We're cutting our losses and moving on...

Poor Integration - We have been on MailChimp for a long time - longer than we have been with BC actually. Since we switched to the BC platform last August our store has not been able to sync with MailChimp. The customers will import, but none of the order data. This makes it an extremely expensive email marketing company because none of the insights or re-marketing features are available. I've contacted MailChimp support multiple times... they are no help. "We have no idea why it hasn't synced, or when it will sync, sorry!" Looking for new options now.

Would give zero stars if I could - We switched to Mailchimp because of the supposedly new and improved integration. It failed to sync the stores orders, none of the automation campaign would work including the browse abandonment campaign. I got left hanging for weeks with no full email service working with support saying it was being worked on but no idea when it would fix the issue. I've asked for a refund and will be closing the account down - considering Mailchimp's reputation as a email marketing software leader they sure as hell have dropped the ball with their Bigcommerce offering!

Confusing app... - I connected my MailChimp account but am not sure what it is it's actually doing. No support from MailChimp either.
