Went from "Love this app!!" to "Will not keep this app" - Initially this is what I said: "I needed help getting the app set up and then producing several campaigns and I got all the help I needed! I love working in the app and can't wait to use everything they offer." Well, a few months later, early in the month, their system calculated my "views" as PROBABLY going beyond the limit for the free app (it doesn't even wait until you go beyond the 5,000 limit). So, I removed some campaigns thinking I would just have their app load with certain pages. Today I was notified that my account would be inactive this month unless I opted for a paid plan. So I contacted them and this is their response: "Privy counts page views every time our app loads (not to be confused with campaign views) - so even if a campaign doesn't actually display, it can still count towards a 'page view' as the app itself loaded in the background. Our page view metric is not intended to match with other site reporting or google analytics." I will look for a better app that hopefully is more transparent.

Works great on the tablet. - Works great on the computer and tablet. The 4 star rating is due to the glitches on mobile.

Privy - Awesome app to add to your store simple as well just add script and keep updated. Love it, thanks Privy

We LOVE Privy - Privy is great for missed email capture and leads that we would have missed. We like that you can set when the pop-up occurs. Its a part of our regular marketing efforts. Suggestions: would be 5 stars if If it were just a bit more intuitive (which form, how to edit...)

Does what it says - this app does exactly what it says and in my opinion works wonders for the website. the most important thing for me are customer relations and to be able to create a database of emails to send out newsletters etc is crucial.

Privy startup - I appreciate the free email service and connection with Big Commerce. I don't really understand how to make this work well so a tutorial for newbies would be really good.

New User - I just downloaded the app and so far so good. It is very simple to use but gives off a very professional look. Only gave 4 stars because I just downloaded it and haven't had much time to experience it. But I especially like the pop up feature. Currently trying out that feature. Will update my feedback once I have more information.

Great addition - Privy has been a welcomed addition to my business. Some of the campaigns I've created have already led to an increase in sales. Try it out, I think you will really like it.

New to Privy - I'm just getting started with Privy, however, I would like to say that I LOVE that it integrates with my BigCommerce store. I was able to import my customers with little to no difficulty. I also like the newsletter signup being a pop-up on the site and you can control the time at which the customer sees it. Looking forward to great things with Privy!!

Best app ever - This is the best email tool ever. It's the first app I install on all my websites. Highly recommended for those serious about taking their email marketing to the next level.

This app suxs - The whorst I've used them for a year they say free bull @#$$ they will charge u. They wsnt me to pay 250.00 a month. For a free service. They lie. They say it's free then drop you when you do not pay. Lies. To dont waste your time with this app

ok - Honestly, I'm only reviewing the product because I want the pop-up to go away that keeps asking me to review it. I haven't even used the product yet. If Privy waited to ask me I might be able to give a more thoughtful review.

Maybe? - Privy starts by walking you through set up, but stops suddenly until you leave a review on here. Which I think is silly as I haven't even tried this thing out. I will amend once I've had time to get a feel for it. But maybe don't force your potential customers to favorably review you before you let them have a look around.

Good so far - So far I like this app. It's sort of hard to give a rating at this point as I haven't had the opportunity to get a real feel whether or not it works and makes a difference. I can assume it will. The features are pretty nice, and the customization is good. I would have rather waited a while to leave a review, but I can't get past step 4 of 5 without doing it now! I don't like seeing pop-ups every time I log into my account.

you asked so here it is - So far its great. easy to set up and for a free tool it is giving me everything i need at this point. The one thing is, the instructions for install on Privy's site for BC are for the old BC themes. I was able to figure it out on my Stencil theme but I could see others have problems with this.

still trying to learn - we are still setting up our website and we have not really had time to learn privy yet

Great for bigcommerce - Used this to replace a hand-coded pop-up when we moved from Magento to BigCommerce. Couldn't be happier. Easy for anyone to edit and monitor, and even the free version has a ton of great functionality. Thanks Privy!

thanks for the program - this is a good program. I have used it for some time. lately it seem to not pop up as often but it has still assisted my company in earning.you should def use it with mailchimp
