Good App for email Marketing. Privy's Staff Really Care - We have been using the app for over six months. The interface is user-friendly, and there are plenty of templates available for different purposes.We reached out to the tech team several times, and they handled our issues promptly and patiently. However, the abandoned cart email automation requires an active pop-up or form from Privy, which doesn’t meet our needs. Despite their efforts, the technical team determined that there was no viable solution.Although the issue remains unresolved, we appreciate their dedication and support, as it shows that the Privy team genuinely cares a lot about its users.

Best Tech Service EVER! - David Sanchez was right on time for the Zoom call and walked me through setting up my Custom Sending Domain. He was so detailed and knowledgable -- it was amazing. He was so thorough that I can do this myself now should the need ever arise. Also, Uri E. (email support) is a first rate rep for the company. He answered my email questions right away and was very clear in his answers without much tech jargon. I give Privy 5 stars.

Best Platform Hands Down - Privy provides the same functionality as Klaviyo (we just switched) for less money and offers magnitudes more firepower to aid in sales. Privy has exit intent (when your customer leaves your site, they have a popup flash with a discount code trying to save otherwise lost sales), they have the Spin to Win, which people like to use to win discounts and you can capture their email that way, they have a countdown timer to give the customers a sense of urgency and much more. They have segmented emails just like Klaviyo, but why pay a higher price for emails only?Also, Privy actively helps you set up your campaigns so you don't have to fear the learning curve of a new platform

Don't waste your time or money - I have a list of customers who opted in to receive newsletters and their "compliance team" stated they are unmailable. i even put in my own personal email address, selected the newsletter and privy is stating my email address in "not mailable". SCAM! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!

Works Well - We use the free version for the cart saver, and it is working well. The interface could be a bit more user friendly as it relates to creating your campaigns. The customer support has strange hours, so you may find yourself emailing or submitting a chat and waiting for a response. They do respond and its consistent, and they solve the problem.

Broken Features / No Multi-Site - After questioning numerous times with the sales rep that the app would work with a multi-store BigCommerce account, we were repeatedly told there would be no problems.After several weeks of vetting marketing partners, several weeks setting up our first store, and then several more weeks with support (and then escalated support) not being able to get multi-site functionality working, we're back to square one.Despite our early-on expressed concerns, and many, many hours of time wasted, customer support did not do the right thing and refund us our entire billings for the time it was not fully functional.Also, several OTHER things don't work with BigCommerce, despite being stated to do so. Some examples include adding coupons, dynamic coupon tags, and even dynamic product grids in emails. So even if multi-site was working, we'd STILL be taking a step back compared to our previous partner, or many other options for BigCommerce.Find a proper company and put their simple script on your site instead of wasting time with cheap repurposed apps like this.

not easy at all - the abandoned cart is not self explanatory and as such is hard to set up at the end you find out its $10 a month on a start up store $10 a month to recover 1 or 2 abandoned carts that may only make $10

RIP-OFF AND DECEPTIVE COMPANY - Claims the app is free but you get what you pay for - NOTHING! Kills most of your email list of valid subscribers from other apps, then wants to charge you to send an email when it says it is free! I wasted too much time to learn this ridiculous garbage. If I am going to pay, I will use a REAL app like Constant Contact that is reliable and professional. I have a small email list and wanted to send a single update to a couple dozen clients and cannot justify paying for this garbage. Will UNINSTALL!

Not Impressed - Not even impressed with this app. You claim free but no email newsletter can get sent without paying for it. You allow pop up discounts but then when a customer replies there is absolutely no way to even send them the code?? I spent 3 hours setting all of this up for my store and then try to test the email and NOPE.. impossible without having to pay. Rip off I say and also very frustrating. Total waste of my time. Definitely not impressed in the least.

Great Service - Great service that's easy to use and actually works. We already had an email list with ZERO poeple on it, so we really wanted something different. Privy is starting to bring in the people, so we upgraded. You should def upgrade. It's super cheap and really slick

Privy Product and Customer Service - We started with privy pop-up campaigns about 6 months ago when we moved our website platform form volusion to BC. Results have been great. We recently decided to change our email campaigns from the expensive MailChimp platform to Privy. We were assigned a Customer Success Manager, Simone, to help guide us and create successful campaigns. Simone has had a few call with us already and helped us out tremendously! She had helped us set-up new pop-up campaigns and email newsletters that are far superior to what we did ourselves. Simone is one awesome representative of the company. Thanks Simone!

Extremely dissapointed - Don't trust these reviews. The newsletter won't be sent to anyone listed under the contact tab and no abandonned cart mail is ever sent to anyone. You can't manually add more than 5 contacts without an error popping. Basically a scam on BigCommerce, I wonder how I can get the $10 I paid to them refunded. The support is also terrible.

Privy Review - This is my first ecommerce store and trying to operate a store and learn at the same time is very difficult. Adding Privy to my account which was a blessing because it is free until I reach I think 5000 emails/customer sign-ups. Also, the tutorials and step by step helps me to create campaigns and coupons. Thanks for the Help!

Not Sure - I want to like this app but I am not too sure about it. I watched one of the trainings for setup and it was marketed as live but it was prerecorded. Lots of small companies are doing these fake live trainings which is quite annoying. As for the app it may be simple enough if you have time to tinker with it (which I don't) at this time I am still setting up my store. When I find time I may look for another option. This is live on my store for the time being.

Went from "Love this app!!" to "Will not keep this app" - Initially this is what I said: "I needed help getting the app set up and then producing several campaigns and I got all the help I needed! I love working in the app and can't wait to use everything they offer."Well, a few months later, early in the month, their system calculated my "views" as PROBABLY going beyond the limit for the free app (it doesn't even wait until you go beyond the 5,000 limit). So, I removed some campaigns thinking I would just have their app load with certain pages. Today I was notified that my account would be inactive this month unless I opted for a paid plan. So I contacted them and this is their response: "Privy counts page views every time our app loads (not to be confused with campaign views) - so even if a campaign doesn't actually display, it can still count towards a 'page view' as the app itself loaded in the background. Our page view metric is not intended to match with other site reporting or google analytics."I will look for a better app that hopefully is more transparent.

We LOVE Privy - Privy is great for missed email capture and leads that we would have missed. We like that you can set when the pop-up occurs. Its a part of our regular marketing efforts. Suggestions: would be 5 stars if If it were just a bit more intuitive (which form, how to edit...)
