Ease of Use - Shogun is a good app for building pages to your website. It leaves all the programming code to someone else. I'm busy running my business and Shogun makes it easy to create pages when I need them. Instead of continually paying a graphic designer or web builder, Shogun is a great alternative for the businesses that rather keep the website building in house.

Ever Improving App - Mr. Walker was amazing in his responses and diligence in the issues I have had. They are constantly improving even the smallest issues.

Great extension for BG Themes - I have been using Shogun for about a year now. I use it for a handful of pages on my site and have found it to be incredibly helpful as it allows further customization than the templates available direct from BigCommerce. It is very easy to use and reliable. It also allows for differentiation on desktop/tablet/mobile interfaces. I'll keep using Shogun and am very happy with the solution!

Great App Shogun Page builder - Using it off and on, allows us to great more interesting layouts etc, easy to use, not sure whether we get complete value for money in terms of how much we use it, but it makes like alot easier,

Saved me a LOT of time - Using the default editor on BigCommerce is...not fun. For anything beyond the most basic (and horrible looking) of websites, it requires a lot of coding knowledge. Shogun make it SO much easier to set up something that looks great. We don't have a dedicated team for web development and design. We have me. My company is small so I fill a lot of roles. I don't have time to work directly in code, especially at my lower skill level. It would literally take me ten times longer to make pages without Shogun.My boss didn't want to pay for Shogun at first. He had built pages using BigCommerce before, so when I showed him Shogun, it took him about 30 seconds to see how valuable it was going to be and didn't hesitate to pay! Building pages in BigCommerce without Shogun is like trying to get from LA to New York by walking, but both your legs are shattered. With shogun it's more like making the same trek, but not only are your legs fine, you're also driving in a nice car!

Really great option to not have to touch code - I have been using shogun for a couple months now, after having done all custom coding on my previous website. I really really like it, so easy to use and I can get pretty much what exactly I want it to look like. It's so nice to not have to deal with the html and css! A couple improvement options - a way to have images lazy load and also a splash screen. Thank you!

Easy to build pages - Shogun really does make it easy to custom design webpages. It takes a little bit of time to grok everything but once you do it's a breeze. Customer service is also great if you have any questions. Highly recommend it.

The best Bigcommerce app we have ever used - Overall, adding Shogun to our workflow as a small business has been incredibly helpful in the quick creation of custom content. It's opened up a range of possibilities for us with blogs and custom landing pages that feed quality content that is mobile friendly, rather than relying on product pages.There are a few changes we would love to see implemented if possible:- Auto saving pages (you don't know how many times we have lost work because either the page doesn't load correctly when hitting save button or I accidentally scroll back to the previous page. Using an Apple Magic mouse, this will happen on occasion.)- The ability to add a thumbnail image to blogs- The ability to add thumbnail images on the back end for pulling into Facebook, Twitter, etc.- Style-matching when copy and pasting a new set of copy into an already styled block of text. I find that I have to re-style the text anytime I paste in new copy. (or if you could make the Paste & Match Style option when you right click, actually work)

Amazing tool for real customisation - After finding very little in the way of site/theme customisaton on big commerce without the need for a developer or coding experience we stumbled onto Shogun and the game changed. Check us out at www.notanotherbrand.co.uk (our domain is currently being updated) We're a fashion retailer and prior to shogun our pages/site were very, very bare indeed. Relying on a 5 image hero slider is not a home page IMO, we wanted greater customisation and control over how we display information and direct traffic from the home page; as well as update all the existing pages to something a little more of the current trend from the very bland and barren we had prior, which is restrictive to most themes i found. Enter Shogun! Complete control, instant customisation, quickly design drafts and custom elements all without the need for a single line of code or tech support. This is a godsend for smaller businesses allowing you to really tailor the look and feel of your brand pages. Very easy to use and pick up - we have a redesigned homepage within a couple of day, support usually get to back same day and are always informative and helpful. This one is a no brainer! A Must Have Design Plugin For Any Size Site - We recently launched www.brandlighting.com on BigCommmerce and Shogun allowed us to save a tremendous of time mocking up and publishing nearly the entire site. The page designer coupled with the power of custom elements allowed us the flexibility to create nearly any design for landing and blog pages within Brand Lighting. Shogun's performance has met the client requirements so far and we are happy. Mobile responsive features seem to work well with a glitch here and there that the Shogun team has quickly addressed. As a developer I would like to have custom templates with well designed code for every page but it is not realistic for many businesses to incur the time and cost of custom development for a large number of pages. Shogun offers a great alternative with tremendous design and feature flexibility. What we would like to see in the future is fine tuning of the drag and drop in the UI, it is currently very good and certainly among the best of "in browser" editors however it could always be smoother, in my opinion. We would also like to see a feature that allows automatic updating of all custom templates used in pictures when the main template is edited. Currently you have to go back and republish pages which is a bit inconvenient when you have large page counts. We believe Shogun will become an essential part of the design workflow of many businesses on the BigCommerce platform. The responsiveness of the support team and the consistent role out of useful features puts Shogun as a solid contender for one of the most useful apps int he marketplace! Easy to Use, Instant Results! - We started using shogun to help us provide a better customer experience on some of our landing pages. As we gained experience and received positive feedback from our customers, we expanded our utilization throughout our website. Still have LOTS of work to do but shogun has helped us get much closer to the design we want.

A learning curve but good so far - It has take a while to get used to how it is structured and where settings are, but it does grow on you. We actually had to have our Dev build the first version so we could get what we want for layout. Looking forward to trying it on new pages.

Very helpful - This program and the support is very helpful. I do think the pricing is a little high, but they are very willing to listen to their customers needs and the pricing has since come down to a more manageable level. Overall the program is very easy to use and will help you make a professional page very quickly. I recommend you give it a try!

Best Bigcommerce App - Awesome app. Bigcommerce wouldn't be as attractive as an ecommerce platform without it. Totally customise the way your pages look, all with a simple drag and drop interface. Easy for web novices but with all the functionality more experienced designers need for additional customisation. Highly recommended.

Very Helpful - Shogun is so easy to use and gives you the flexibility to change pages within minutes, no coding needed. Love that you can do different page designs for desktop and mobile.

So Awesome & So Helpful - I don't know how I survived with this APP before. I am not a person who really likes to leave review. But if my opinion can help someone then it'll be so worth it. I love how I can customize our website now. Create customized pages and Landing Pages for our site. And the big bonus is that you do not have to be a genius to work this app. It's a Simple Drag and Drop. Sometimes I still can't believe that it's truly just as simple as that. If you love customization and freedom to do so. Then you really need this app for your site.

Great way to customize website - The one thing I didn't like about BigCommerce templates is that you aren't able to do much customization with the layout of your pages. Shogun has allowed take our home page up a notch by being able to customize the layout and utilizing features like parallax. It is pretty simple to use and so glad we found it.
