Never worked, got the run around for 2 months - Never worked. For 2 months I was given the runaround about it being a "token" or to wait for level 2 to fix. This was consistent over the 6+ times I contacted support to get the app I paid for to work. Wasted a lot of time setting up importing and writing the emails. Live chat wait times are very long.

Terrible - Hasn't worked for weeks. We open a support ticket and they just close it off. Impossible to get help and still we have no reviews showing on our website. They don't offer integration via script manager and only offer via template files. Causing big issues when a theme is updated.

A nightmare integration with intergalactic support M.I.A. - After the struggle setting everything up with their agent ... the app is so buggy ... chat is down, logos won't save, email templates and send receive updates won't save, the app has already sent 200 of a 50 limit, I can't disable the app, cuz there is no obvious flip switch, I can't get the smile rewards to show up in Yotpo discount settings, etc, etc. There chat is a joke ... was at 15 ahead of me, then it disappeared. Then, it keeps trying to reload. Then one is in the queue at #20, and SEVEN HOUR LATER when it is finally my turn, they tell me that they already have someone looking at it and its been escalated to management and they will be contacting me in 24 to 48 hours. 48 hours later, I get a form letter from their manager stating that she has assigned the issue to a specialist. 24 hours later (are we keeping track of the total time) I hear back from the specialist, who obviously NEVER read the issues in the ticket, (which is par for tech support never reading past the top paragraph), and he wanted to get on a call to discuss my issues. REALLY!!! I have been a website and extension/app/module developer and manager of multiple platforms (all at the same time), going all the way back to the inception of dynamic database websites, back to Magento beta 0.9 early 2000's, in addition to WP and BigCommerce platforms. I'm well respected in the Magento community. And I've got to say that this app and its support is just HORRIBLE. Though I have gone through every setup step at least twice to integrate the app, have had the original chat tech guy trying to fix, and assist with uninstall and reinstall this app at least 4 times, while he went in and reconfigured what he could on his end, and then gave up and passed the issue on as a ticket, to never be touched again. I've given up since not hearing back, and , I've just gone ahead and uninstall this garbage. I can't believe this company has such high ratings. And did I mention that their support sucks? I'd mention the app I eventually moved to, but I don't want this to sound like a free plug for another company.

not impressed - so far nothing works properly and this is over 2x more expensive then the last app i used on shopify. the other thing that is really irritating is it say costomers can leave picture or video in the reveiw but thats only through replying to the email request and can not be done directly on the site. save your $80 a month in my opinion. not worth the price I will be shopping around

annoying and intentional technical glitches - I read online reviews about how yotpo has very complicated pricing plans and feature offerings. It is really true to the point of madness.In my experience, I wanted to add yotpo to a second website. However, Yotpo requires that the email address is the same as the email address on the BigCommerce account. However, Yotpo itself doesn't allow the same email address on more than one yotpo account, unless you upgrade to the Prime account. The difference in pricing between their Growth Plan and Prime Plan is at least 50x.For example, $120 for Growth (or less) vs $6K for Prime. In my view, this is excessive for such a technical feature. It took a long time for me to figure out this was the issue not allowing my paid account to work on my 2nd website. They would not fix it for me. I went in circles with customer service and sales.

Please do not use Yotpo - This product is a waste of time. They will gaslight you, not reply, take your money, send your reviews to no-where and never bother to reply to your support ticket. This product is a waste of space. It took my money, did nothing, collected reviews that were not visible in my dashboard and worst of all, I was receiving emails saying that I had reviews. Total mind blown, for the worst product in the app store.

Does not work - We were on the highest level tier of Yotpo, we first signed up in November 2020. After countless hours and over £17,000 paid to yotpo, 18 months later and we have NEVER had a working loyalty program. I have asked them for a refund and they are now ignoring me. This company will rip you off, stay well well well away. Also, their system does not integrate properly, we tried to get a loyalty program with the "support" of Yotpo installed and it never worked.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS - Yotpo costs $200 per month when your trial is over (only if you have over 100 orders per month). The way it works is Yotpo sends automatic review requests to all your customers 2 weeks after their order. The emails don't make it past the spam folder. Yotpo has emailed over 500 of my past orders and managed to collect 10 reviews from all of those orders. This means that I've paid $600 over the past 3 months to collect a whopping 10 reviews. This is not worth it at all.My buddy uses another reviews system that collects around 20 reviews per 100 orders and this system costs about $15 per month. I didn't realize how ripped off I was getting until I looked into this other service.The worst part about Yotpo is that it does not integrate well with bigcommerce. I had to hire 3 different developers to hard code the widget into my product pages and only one of them was able to do it. For $200 per month, my account does not qualify to retrieve the simple embed code. How much do I have to spend to be able to attach the reviews widget to my product pages?!Avoid this app. There are better ones out there for a lower price.

Yotpo is price gouging their customers - I stuck with Yotpo for a while but there were always problems that never got fully resolved. In the end I had to leave and made a jump to a competitor (name starts with "stamp...") I am now very happy and also paying 1/5 the cost of what I was paying to Yotpo! I was paying over $1,100 /mth with Yotpo (on a "deal" they told me was 50% off) and they make you lock into a long contract.Yotpo integration with BigCommerce is poor and the staff I dealt with seemed to know $h0pify but not BigCommerce. My developers found several flaws in Yotpo's code which was really frustrating.Strongly suggest you look at alternatives. Yotpo were the first to market and so have market share, but their tech is now old and others offer better service. Also, Yotpo's integration with Swell, the loyalty platform they bought, is awkward to non-existent.

Support is a joke - Yotpo support has been a nightmare. We are paying them THOUSANDS of dollars a month for features they cant even get to work. Its been 3 months of emailing support back and forth trying to solve basic syndication problems. I had to look into their code myself and found a flaw in the way they handle variable products. Yotpo support takes up to 4-8 days to reply to any issue. AGAIN we pay them THOUSANDS a month.Spare yourself. This company is horrible and should be ashamed for how it operates. Theft would be a decent word.

Complete Rip-Off - As others have stated it seemed like a great idea but it's a bait/switch type system. They show you all the cool features about Q&A and images and what not but then when you actually install it and try to enable features, it turns out all of the features you HOPED for are ONLY available in a PREMIUM tier. Well the normal tiers top off at $99/month, and DO NOT include those premium features. Want the premium features... get prepared to pay $14,000 a year. $14k! Are you kidding me? That's obsurd. They list the features as if you can go to a slightly higher plan and get them but NOPE, you get the same features in every single plan, only more email/review alerts. To get the REAL features, you hafta pay over a grand a month. What a complete rip-off! Also as others stated, lack of documention. The installation links are broken and when you install it, you can't login. There is no password creation. You can't even change it as it looks for an OLD password, which does not exist. What a joke.

Terrible for Many Reasons - We installed Yotpo for the obvious reason of trying to increase the number and functionality of out product reviews and it was a sloppy mess. The first frustrating issues was that it would not install properly. Every time we opened Yotpo it told us it was not installed. We uninstalled / installed it several times (which is what it told us to do every time) to try to resolve it, we could not. We could only get in by re-installing it and then we could actually get in that once. Next we found the entire system to be a sloppy mess. Very little actual direction on how it is actually going to work, the impact on our very large database of customers and a number of other significant issues that we had with the entire interface. We could not find any way to determine who we were sending emails to whether it was only new customers, legacy customers etc. Could we go back 30 days and send emails to these customers? We found no easy way to find answers and to get the Yotpo system up and running. There was only what seemed to be an antiquated ticket system of resolving issues. As well, our entire website now had no reviews, no site reviews and we looked like a new store that just launched with no reviews and no traffic. There are too many negatives compared to very few or no benefits of installing this app. The fact that it would not install properly is the first indicator that this was not going to be a good fit for us.

Nothing but Problems for Me - Have had nothing but problems with there App. constantly failing. I have opened tickets to try and fix the issues and it seems like right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. I recieve multiple responses days later from multiple people telling me different things and they know nothing of what the other person has already responded with. I know there have been a lot of good reviews but they have been nothing but a headache for me. I will be removing, since its not working again anyway!

WAITING TWO WEEKS FOR MY REVIEWS TO BE UPLOADED FROM MY OLD WEBSITE - My request number is (#98999). I am so tired of being treated like this--mostly ignored and then answered with incompetent responses. I am moving from shopify to bigcommerce and trying to take my yotpo reviews with me. Yotpo offers no way for me to do this myself, and they promised to upload my hard-earned reviews from my old site. TWO WEEKS, some ridiculous responses from them and NO REVIEWS. Prepare to be ignored.

No Customer Service - The service does what it says but don't expect them to ever provide any customer service. The customer service is non-existent. Marita Schneider in the New York office told me I was not paying enough money to get customers service.

Great app HORRIBLE Customer service - We have had this app for over a year. If you can get it installed right, it works fine.Customer service is HORRENDOUS! Takes days and weeks to get anything fixed
