Tripled Monthly Fee - Worthwhile app for $9/month. When they increased 66% to $14.95, I didn't complain, but then they jumped 300% to $45/month. I'll be looking for an alternative or simply rely on Big Commerce's built in site back up. Order, product, and customer data is already kept in my Webgility App. This was just a safety net and not worth $540/year.

Hidden clause - We are closing the store and we wanted to backup the data .apparently you can’t access your data for 6 months. Don’t use this

Price Increased - Disappointed that the price has increased to $45 without any warning. We now need to find a new backup service at a reasonable price.

Ridiculous Price Increase - Price went from $5 a month to $150 a month which absolutely ridiculous for what it does.Pricing is based on order count, but we only use this app as a fail safe to save our product data, order count is not relevant.

Price went from $9/month to $45/month! - This product is excellent for $9/month, but not for $45 or more! Very unhappy the price was raised without notice - I only found out when I saw my bank statement!

Backup restore - I have paid for my Rewind subscription for many years and have not needed to do any restores. But recently I did - just a simple restore of a blog post. When I tried to do it Rewind app would not work. Turns out there is a fault with the app. It took 2 weeks for the Rewind team to sort out the problem!! In the meantime I had a blog page live on my site that I needed restored. Very poor customer experience with Rewind and I am now investigating other backup options.

Garbage - This product does not work, neither does their customer service. I paid for two years of service. When I finally needed a backup of my site it didn't work. I spoke with customer service several times over a period of two weeks. Though they sounded concerned and helpful, they ultimately were not. I guess $3/month was too good to be true.

Didn't work - We had a catastrophic issue that caused all our categories to be deleted, when we went to use Rewind Backups, it didn't even work. We got an error and immediately reached out to support, who was unable to do anything. We waiting over a week to get a reply that nothing could be done. They were nice enough to refund us for every month we had ever paid, but I'd rather had paid and been able to actually have a reliable backup of my store. BEWARE!

Rewind Backup Service for Big Commerce - Recently I was going to perform a bulk edit to my Big Commerce website.Before doing so, Big Commerce recommended that I add the app Rewind.I did so and then performed a backup.After the backup, I performed my bulk edit with the belief that if it went wrong, that I could simply restore my website to the backup.Well, the bulk edit corrupted my Option SetsWhen I tried to restore the website using Rewind it did not work.I contacted Rewind and they could not fix it either.In the end I had to go in and fix my option sets manuallyMy experience with Rewind was a disappointment.Their service did not work. Their support was slow to respond and was of no help and their website has broken links and dead ends.I cannot recommend Rewind based on my experience.

Warning!!! Read this before installing!!! - DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! The software does not work as you would expect. It does not back up products and you have to wait 5-7 days for a technician to look at restoring your website, only to find out it cannot! I can only assume a web-developer has never made a mistake and screwed up when making changes to a website, because if anyone of the 5 star reviewers was ever to have had this happen, they would quickly realize that Rewinds software does NOT work! When put to the test, their customer service agent, says "delete all your products on your live website and then we can do a restore" UN-ACCEPTABLE!!!Who in their right mind would pay for a service like this? It does not work as sold. It is misrepresentation on the highest level! If I could have given 0 stars, I would have! Rewind should be removed from the preferred vendor list of BigCommerce. For that matter, this should be an embarrassment to BigCommerce for putting their name on such a company’s product…I used to rate BigCommerce 9 out of 9, BUT now it is a 5 out of 9 because of their APP management teams refusal to get rid of such a terrible service provider that does not work as represented.

Peace of Mind - UPDATE - It hurt to lose all of my customer data when I switched from an old Blueprint site. I like the peace of mind I get knowing everything is backed up with this app.UPDATE: The above is how I have felt since I installed this app in 2020. I have been paying $9/month for the service. 3 days before my subscription was to renew, I received a message that my monthly plan was now $169/month. Has Rewind been ignoring their plan prices for 4 years? Are they struggling and trying to right a sinking ship? Such an increase is insanity. I just uninstalled and unsubscribed because of broken trust.

So Horrible - This service is absolutely horrible. First you can’t restore your website on your own. The employees work banker hours. So, if you need to restore your website and it is the weekend or after 5pm your out of luck until Monday morning and then it will take them all day to get to you. There is absolutely no urgency if your website crashes. It took this service literally all day to restore my products back to where they were at a previous date. Even then some of the products were not completely restored. I have used other services like this and it took the service 10 minutes with one touch of a button to restore my site back to a previous date. There is no button they push and it goes back to a date. The system is so jimmy rigged that they hope they can restore your website back. This service is so expensive I expected this to be a professional service.

ORIGINAL REVIEW REMOVED - We needed to remove our original review from April 2018 as we were TOLD (by Rewind) that if BigCom crashes, we would loose everything - unless we have Rewind. This is NOT true according to BigCommerce. BigCom backs up ALL stores - you will lose nothing if there is a crash at BigCom.

hmmm.. - After reading the review below this, I am going to have to search for a better back-up solution.

Rewind App - The app just switched my pricing and it increased by 800%. From $5 to $45 a month. Good bye.
