Great for product labeling - I needed an app to help me create custom labels for managing our inventory and pricing products in our Bigcommerce store. This app has been perfect for that! At first, I used Avery labels on A4 paper to make various templates for pricing and inventory. It worked wonderfully, even allowing me to set a number of blank labels so I can reause sheets. After upgrading to professional label printers, the process became even smoother, all thanks to this app. Definitely a five-star experience for me.There are a couple of drawbacks, though. Sometimes, the app freezes when I'm selecting multiple products for labeling, which means I have to start over, and that can be annoying. Also, the search function is too specific. You must enter the exact SKU, and it doesn't recognize SKUs for product variants, only the main SKU. While these issues are minor, they can be a bit frustrating.Overall, this app is excellent, and I highly recommend it.
Just trying to make an invoice- CS doesn't respond - For over one whole year I've been trying to get a response but they never reply: I need to recreate and edit the BC Printable Invoice. I see where to edit but not where to activate. I hate the BC templates and would like to tweak the printables- seems like a basic question? Only get AI cs replies.
Love this App - Allowed us to custom build a number of forms we needed for our business. We have it automatically generated pick lists for orders, fill out freight documents, order labels and more. It does have a little bit of a learning curve but the support is wonderful, if you can't figure something out they quickly point you in the right direction. Definitely one of the best apps we've added.

A Bigcommerce MUST HAVE - Because we have multiple staff printing packing slips, the feature that the printer icon turning green once that an order has been printed saves us every single day from double-printing orders to be printed.I have very easily included bar codes onto packing slips that are completely written on the fly.Our shipping process is streamlined thanks to this software that we would be lost without.
Print Designer - Print designer is a must have app for us, before we started using it we were manually printing out orders, and manually dispatching them from our big commerce admin panel. With print designer all new orders automatically printed in our warehouse, once the order is packed the picker scans the barcode on the packing list and a shipping label is printed and the order is set to shipped in the admin panel, this is saving us a great deal of time and cutting down possible errors. We also have automatic rules in place to email customers order confirmations, invoices and follow up emails, the stationey looks professional and is very easy to set up yourself but if you need any help Print Desiner support response is very quick and they could not be more helpful. Print Designer is a great app that saves time, automates monotonous tasks and presents your customers with professional looking stationery, I would thouroughly recommend it and give it 5 stars out of 5.
Poor customer service and App missing core code that's included in BigCommerce's printout - 3-4 months ago I decided to sign up and pay the recurring monthly fee for the use of this app. Reason why is just to get a picture next to our product line item(s) in our invoice printouts. Other than missing a little picture, the default BigCommerce invoice printouts work just fine and in my honest opinion better. I prefer no frills, clean and of course at no extra cost. It’s a real shame BigCommerce can’t simply have an option coded in to put a picture next to the product line items...Now, since I've started using the Printout Designer app I've only had to contact the developers twice. The first time was to separate the product(s) information (options/options sets) into separate lines. It used to be just one continuous block of text and was extremely difficult to read. This seems like a no-brainer to me. Why this was never done in the first place makes no sense to me, but whatever **shoulder shrug**.To get this dealt with took a couple days because they’re in Europe I’m in the US so sure it takes a while to communicate, which didn’t bother me at first. But in some ways I feel that brought to the surface another issue. Which is the lack of simple customization or tools that I as a user can simply use to make quick adjustments to the invoice. But that’s not what this review is about.The problem with this app is the fact that it's missing CORE code or elements that BigCommerce printouts has. In particular it doesn't show split shipping addresses. It'll only list the 1st address not any additional addresses. I was not aware of this issue and obviously I didn't learn about it until my customer complained that we had shipped her entire order and all of her products to the same address. If you’re wondering why this mistake happened, we’re not automated. We’re a small business. We don’t use scanners and we still use stamps.com to ship USPS. So everything is manually done via copying and pasting in the ship-to addresses. So when my employee got the printed invoice he shipped everything to the one address that was listed. In retrospect I would have made the same mistake too.How in the world would I have known that this was an issue?? Which leads me to believe what other underlying issues with Printout Designer will surface later on that I’m obviously not aware of?Now I'm not a programmer and I have a very basic understanding of software development. I understand that the developers of this app purposefully made it the way they did so they can have complete control of their app and how it's supposed to be utilized. To the point where I need to contact them to make a very simple change. Honestly I have no problem with that aspect. I’m a business owner/capitalist myself and they have to protect their product. But when core elements are missing and I’m paying a recurring $10.00 monthly fee? Your shit better work the way it’s supposed to and if for whatever reason it doesn’t and I bring it to your attention. Fix it and deal with the issue. NOT IGNORE ME TO THE POINT WHERE I’M LEAVING YOU A 1 STAR REVIEW!So of course I have my own upset customer that I had to deal with and I had to pay out of my own pocket to fix the shipping issue on my end. Also keep in mind that I now have to deal with the fact that I may have lost any potential future orders with this customer and any of her friends/contacts that she may have put in a good word for our company...and this is to no fault of my own. This is what truly drives me up a wall! But hey I get it, I suppose that’s business in the world today. The lack of accountability and passing the buck. Obviously the people at Printout Designer has the same way of thinking. Well that stops at my door. So I’m dropping this app once I’m done with my review.If you’re one of the developers reading this and wondering why I’m so upset over this and not leaving a glowing 5 star review like the other 11 people who have. Then re-read the last 2 paragraphs in particular and maybe you’ll understand. Reap what you sow.
BEYOND FANTASTIC SUPPORT AND PRODUCT! PRICELESS APP! - We have over 3,000 products in our wholesale store. It was not an option whether we had an image on our packing slips and invoice- it was a MUST! I did some research and Printout Designer was the only one that had the options I needed ... but I was intimidated by 'designing' my own.... 1st of all- the templates are absolutely great! So if you dont feel like you could design your own- then dont. We did and it was SO easy! We were able to scale down to only the necessary information on the warehouse packing slip and got rid of all the useless, distracting info they didnt need. 2nd- When we couldnt figure out a few things that would make our packing slips and invoice go from what was necessary to what would be PERFECT- Madis was a dream in customer support! He took care of what we needed FOR us and told us how to do it in case we ever wanted to change it... with pictures, screen shots, step by step instructions- over and above excellent customer service. I LOVE when a company is as passionate about their product and customer support as we are about ours... Having this scaled down packing slip with images of our products for the warehouse to pack and fill has saved us COUNTLESS mistakes - which means we dont have to reship another item and pay that shipping ... and the customer isnt upset! Saving us ONE mistake in our business pays 8 MONTHS OF THE MONTHLY APP FEE! And in this 1 month alone, it has saved us at least a dozen... so- PRICELESS in our eyes!Seriously - I have no idea how we would do our online store/packing/shipping without this app... and I am not over inflating it- I am a VERY hard critic and leave very honest reviews- because I depend on others' reviews to help me decide before I pay for something I dont have the extra money to spend. I hope you love it as much as we do! We are customers for life...
Great Support - This app is great! We sell seedlings and have them arranged in a certain order on the tables. Before Printout designer we would be zig zagging back and forth, wasting a whole bunch of time. We now have our seedlings on our packing slip matching the order they are arranged in the greenhouse. We also wanted a total of all items from items in the seedling category whilst the items in the other categories could just be listed on the packing slip. Tanel was great! He built the flip for us and even added a template for orders shipping to multiple addresses. Printout designer has saved us a great deal of time fulfilling orders.
THE MUST HAVE APP FOR ECOMMERCE - This is a MUST HAVE app for your online store. This system automates your entire process and everything is beautifully laid out. Our production factories are in two different country's and both require orders to be submitted in a very specific way including pictures of each item sold. There was absolutely no way to make this happen with BigCommerce unless you build it on your own OR USE THIS APP! We were able to customize forms and when we needed the app to pull information that was not typically pulled by the app they built it into their system in an hour! The invoices that we send to customers now shows the item they bought more clear. This is an idiot proof app! You drag and drop save it and move on. It is automated so you can set up emails based on new orders, change in status, etc... They are extremely fast to respond and will get you moving quickly. If you value your time.... This app is going to give you more of it and help you make more money with that time.
Best Quick online Service I have ever seen - I am very impressed with the quick response I received every time I encountered a problem, not only did I receive clear step by step instructions, a few times they edited specialty labels for me. I will definitely recommend this app because in this day and age of do it yourself, there are very few companies that offer this wonderful service.
Good app, could be great app - This has a lot of really great features but a few glaring misses. No ability to search for an order, and a few other. Support is pretty good and hopefully they will keep making improvements!
GREAT, SAVES Times & Flexible - At Parrot Essentials we have been using Print Out Designer since it launch and we could not have been happier. It allows you to create a custom Invoices so you can include as much or as little information you need. We have customised our Packing Slips so they are sorted by Location when printed. This saves a lot of times as the packing staff does not waste time. Starts at A and finishes at Z. Last but not least we use different courier companies and they all have different labels. We have created these labels within Printout Designer and now all of our labels are printed in one place with one click. I am sure there are more features that we are not taking advantage of but, but this is what our business needs and Printout Designer delivers perfectly. You don't need any formal training to use the app or to customise it but if you do need help the support team is there for you. SIMPLY put EXCELLENT App.Thank you.

These guys did everything I wanted, it took about 2 hours via skype. They set up 2 templates. The resized pics, added columns , pulled extra data. Basically it will all be on auto now for my shipping and packing staff.
