Upload main, gallery, and product variation images using a CSV file

Use this App when you have too many products to deal with the pictures one by one

This App will upload images to Products by SKU, so you need to know SKUs or just export them from your Store first.

Main image, gallery images, Product variation image

Every 1st image you assign to some SKU becomes "main" Product image, every next image becomes an additional ("gallery") image.

The App will also upload the image to the Product variation (depending on the Color or Size option for example) if your Product variation has an unique SKU.

Upload by URL or from local computer

Use URLs as image names (like "https://example.com/path-to-product/product-image.jpg") if you know where your images are placed on the internet.

If you prefer to upload from your local computer, just pack the images to single ZIP archive.

You can even mix "by URL" with "from local by names" in one uploading session.

Know, don't guess: see the log

The App writes saveable "log" text during uploading, so you always know where exactly something goes wrong (or all done well).

Very handy when you upload images to hundreds or thousands of Products.

By simply collecting all your necessary images into a single ZIP-archive, while adhering to ZIP standard restrictions on file names, you can ensure a smooth operation. To efficiently organize your files, use a spreadsheet to manage dependencies between products, picture file names, and captions. Begin by exporting your products to a Tab-delimited .CSV file, ensuring the inclusion of a Product ID column. Edit this file to add columns for "gallery_image" and "gallery_image_title," filling in each cell with the relevant image file names and descriptions, which connect directly to the correct product via the Product ID. Once saved correctly as a Tab-separated, UTF-8 encoded file, you can easily upload your images by selecting the .CSV and .ZIP files in the app, choosing your desired options, and hitting the "Import gallery images" button. Upload hundreds of product gallery images in minutes using zipped file and CSV!

Need to automate upload gallery images? This is the way.

Collect all the pictures you need into a single ZIP-archive. Warning: Be careful about file names: due to ZIP standard restrictions, use only ASCII characters (“A-z”, numbers, points, commas, hyphens and underscores are valid).

Organize the dependences of products, picture file names, and captions using spreadsheet:

Export products to Tab-delimited .CSV (Product ID column is required).
Edit .CSV file: add “gallery_image” and “gallery_image_title” columns (required).
Fill cells with image file names and descriptions (“product_id” cell value is required to link gallery image with appropriate product).
Save this .CSV as Tab-separated, Utf-8 encoded (Some programs saves this format with .TSV or .TXT file name extension).

Open “Bulk Gallery Upload” app in your Store Dashboard. Pick .CSV and .ZIP files, select options, and press “Import gallery images” button.
