A necessary app that BigCommerce should have out of the box - When rebuilding a client site, you never want to break their current live site. Standard procedure is to build the new website on a staging site, and make it live once it's completed, tested, and ready to go for a seamless transition.I was very dismayed to find that BigCommerce has no such staging ability. The BigCommerce team referred us to StagingPro, which was a lifesaver. Without them, we would not have been able to complete this project.Being able to migrate all website data, make backups, etc. is necessary for any serious website developers. Kudos to the StagingPro team for putting together a solution for serious developers. This plugin is a must for any serious website work on BigCommerce.

Doesn't work for multi-storefront - We signed up for this app because we were sold on functionality that doesn't work. To cause further frustrations, we were in the final stages of Go Live on a massive site and need to copy over all products/categories/brands to do final testing. In order to do so, the app requires you to remove all of the entries from the destination store. We then discovered the app wouldn't work and now don't even have the products we were testing with, let alone the full catalog. I've tried raising this concern to their helpdesk, project manager, 2 sales managers, their client success director and other than their helpdesk, have been ignored. Their helpdesk has spent the last 2 days arguing with me and telling me I'm wrong and that the utility is working--because it's difficult to login to your destination store and see that ALL the categories are only being copied to 1 channel rather than to their respective channels. I have not tried anything other than the Bulk Content Migration currently as I cannot get that to work for the 2 channels we have.

Seemed to help - Our developer used this app to help with migrating our website from v2 to v3. It seemed to help and save them time.

Took Some Time, but They Came Through - My original review was a one star review due to some miscommunication and misplaced e-mails. Once we got past the initial barrier it has been smooth sailing with StagingPro. They stepped up as well to make up for the initial mishaps. While the platform could still use some added features and UI upgrades to make things for user friendly (Like a select all on the selective migration). Would recommend for anyone that has large quantities of updates, performing integrations like B2B Edition, or maintains a highly customized environment.
