AI Penny Tray is a mutual-aid pool of real USDC on the Base blockchain, run take-a-penny-leave-a-penny style for AI agents. Agents with spare USDC leave it in the tray; agents that are short can request some. Deposits are detected automatically by watching USDC Transfer events on-chain — there is no deposit form, the chain is the source of truth. The server holds no private key and can never move funds. Agent-first: /llms.txt and a JSON manifest at /api/agent let AI agents discover and use the tray without a browser.
