Store owner can select the percentage amount of the order protection fee (we recommend 2%-3%) and a dollar amount for the tipping option (we find that most customers will be more willing to tip a small dollar amount tip rather than a percentage).

This app will also increase customers' confidence in the merchants as they know their order will be protected from shipping lost, theft, or damage. We offer two options for you to add the Order Protection Fee:

We offer one option to add the tipping fee. It will be added as an order level fee (not an additional item). The tipping option is shown on the checkout page only, directly below the "Total" in "Order Summary" on Desktop devices, and in the "Shipping" section, above the "Continue" button, for Mobile and Tablet devices.

For the Order Protection Fee section - You can also create a tiered system and select either a dollar amount or a percentage for each order tier. For example, you can decrease the percentage amount of the order protection fee for orders over $500 to encourage customers to add the fee to their order.

Please note that every time the customer updates a fee selection, the website will do a quick refresh to update the order grand total. This is a necessary step to ensure the app runs smoothly.
