Horrible Service - Do NOT PAY FOR THIS - The Heartland to BigCommerce connector does NOT work even 10% of the time. I have been fighting with Heartland for more than 6 months about their failure of a product here and to this date, they cannot seem to figure out how to make it stable and work. Literally, every day, we are manually closing orders in Heartland because it will not sync to BigCommerce. Heartland also has the nerve to charge thousands of dollars per year for such a junky connection. If you open a ticket with Heartland, they won't answer unless you call their corporate office and then you get a sob story about how busy they are. I DO NOT CARE...if you want people to pay...then make your stuff work. Worst integration ever. Buyer Beware!

Poor Synchronization. Poor Support. - I have used this plugin for several years now. We use the Point of Sale system in our store and felt the plugin would make a natural integration between our eCommerce site and brick-and-mortar. Unfortunately, this has been a disappointment since the beginning. Early on, we encountered both order synchronization issues as well as inventory count synchronization issues.Order synchronization issues include: orders completely failing to appear in Heartland, sometimes items are missing from the order created by the synchronization in Heartland (resulting in inventory count issues on the missing items), order appear correctly in Heartland fail to synch inventory decrease on one ore more items on the order (resulting in overstatement of stock on the live eCommerce site), order status never updated in heartland, order refunds never appearing in Heartland, and order cancellations never reversing the order in Heartland and leaving the inventory count short.Inventory synchronization issues include: Inventory received in Heartland never updated in BigCommerce and all of the issues above with the failed order synchronization resulting in short or overstated inventory counts.Our latest issue which is inventory is not deducted from BigCommerce until the order is shipped has gone on for two months without resolve. This leaves items that have been paid for, available for purchase from anyone, until we process the shipment.We are now several years into this integration and have to regularly spot check orders. We continue to find shortages as well as overstated inventory traced back to one or more of the failures outlined above.Support: we have opened no less than 15 support tickets over this period. Some resolved the specific issue with the specific order but failed to address the greater problem. Others have gone unresolved. We experience closed cases without explanation or resolution. We sometimes have to contact support several times for the same issue before even getting a level 1 response. Asking for escalated attention has been a waste of breath. It very much is scripted responses.Our inventory is in a horribly questionable state.They have you between a rock and a hard place. It takes quite a bit of time to onboard a POS with eCommerce system integration. But here we are several years later having to devote time, effort, and financial resources to find a new POS that will work with BigCommerce.Do not waste your effort or money with this solution.

Game-Changer! - Having Springboard Retail as our point-of-sale solution and BigCommerce as our e-commerce solution allows us to have two technologies that truly are best in class while also leveraging technologies to facilitate the sharing of data, create efficiencies, reduce manual work, increase data accuracy, eliminate data silos. Robust features, such as analytics, help us understand and manage our business. With real-time inventory sync, not only are we confident that our online shoppers are shopping from accurate inventory levels, but we no longer have to manually update the inventory - this saves us so much time! Also, you should not overlook the importance of the orders integration. Again, this saves us time by not having to manually input sales, but it creates also creates an omni-channel experience for the customer while allowing our staff to function more as a cohesive team rather than as separate units within the business. We also use the product management feature to push selected products from Springboard into BigCommerce which, again, saves time and helps with accuracy of the product catalog in BigCommerce. It is easy to recognize the strengths of each technology alone, but when combined, they really become a super-system, and the effect is hard to fathom. Even within the integration, there is a lot of flexibility: you can choose from several options for managing the catalog sync, and you can select which locations’ inventory is used to calculate the inventory for the BigCommerce store. Overall, integrating BigCommerce with Springboard Retail is a game-changer!

Great System! - We are very pleased with Springboard's POS and how it connects to BigCommerce. Our inventory syncs in real time so we are not overselling inventory, and it is very easy to track what is sold online vs in a store through their very extensive reporting. It is also easy to add and manage items in Springboard and then push them up to BigCommerce so we only need to manage them in one place. The orders are easy to keep track of and fulfill in Springboard, and we have a clear idea of what is going on at all times. It also has great customer management features that we can use to send targeted marketing to our customers. Overall Springboard is very user friendly, has a great support team, and is always rolling out new features that are useful to our business.

Additional Costs! - The BigCommerce integration is an extra $59 per month. On top of the $69 monthly fee.
